For more than 30 years, Food City Family Race Night has served as one of the premier pre-race events on the NASCAR circuit.  As Food City continues to celebrate their 100th Anniversary this year, they are excited to join NASCAR and Bristol Motor Speedway in bringing Family Race Night to Bristol Motor Speedway, to serve as the kickoff for the Thursday, August 16th racing activities. 

The action gets underway at noon and continues until 6 p.m.  Shuttle services are available.  The event is free of charge and fans can expect one of the most exciting line-ups in the event’s history, including an all-star cast of driver autograph sessions, show cars, simulators, souvenir trailers, entertainment and free food samples (while supplies last).

Join Food City and Master of Ceremonies, Larry McReynolds for welcome ceremonies beginning at 2:00 p.m., including a special performance of the National Anthem by Food City’s own Christina Druen and a presentation by PVA Spokesperson and seven-time NASCAR Champion, Richard Petty.  A Q&A session and live auction will follow at 3:00 p.m.
