Apple Bread
Ingredients

Preparation
- Cream together margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk, vanilla and stir.
- Sift together dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients in small increments.
- Add apples; stir.
- Pour into greased loaf pan, sprinkle with topping.
- To make topping - Melt butter.
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Mix well with fork until crumbly.
- Bake bread at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until top is firm when pressed.
- Serves 8-10.

"I am a beginner baker and love this recipe. I used butter instead of margarine, and used Granny Smith apples. I am surprised at how easy this was and how well it turned out. I had to cook it about 15 minutes longer than recipe stated, other than that very straightforward. I have made it 4 times now and my husband keeps asking me to make it again."

"The taste was good. I added the cinnamon directly to the batter as well. Would chop the apples very small next time and spice the apples first before adding to the batter. Had to add 20 mins to baking time."
