Spaghetti with Meatballs and Broccoli

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Place frozen meatballs on a baking sheet and bake until done, about 15-20 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, toss broccoli with a little olive oil, a sprinkling of garlic powder, salt and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Capers make a nice addition to the broccoli, if desired.
  • Place broccoli on a baking sheet and roast for 12-15 minutes.
  • While meatballs and broccoli are in the oven, bring a large pot of water to a boil; add salt.
  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.
  • Drain pasta then return to pot.
  • Toss pasta with sauce.
  • Add pasta to serving bowls and top with meatballs, roasted broccoli and shaved Parmesan (optional).
  • Enjoy!
