Food City is hosting a Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic throughout the month of October. They are taking appointments for Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccinations, including the first shot, second shot, additional shots, and booster* shots.

The Clinic is located at 384 Towne Center Dr. in Abingdon, VA (next to former Food City location) and will be open Tuesday through Thursday throughout the month of October. The hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., while vaccine supplies last.

APPOINTMENT ARE REQUIRED and must be made online at: https://covidvaccine.foodcity.com. Simply select store #120 by entering the zip code of 24210. Any questions or concerns may be submitted by email to covidvaccine@foodcity.com.

*The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine has received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from FDA to provide:

• a two-dose primary series 3 weeks (21 days) apart in individuals 12 years of age and older;

• a third primary series dose at least 28 days following the second dose for individuals 12 years of age and older who have moderately to severely compromised immune systems; and

• a single booster dose for the following Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine recipients who completed their initial series at least 6 months ago:

- 65 years and older

- 18 years and older who live in long-term care settings

- 18 years and older who have underlying medical conditions

- 18 years and older who work in high-risk settings

- 18 years and older who live in high-risk settings
