UT Medical Center Cancer Institute is offering 3D mammograms at our 1950 Western Avenue Food City location in Knoxville, TN. The mobile mammography unit will be on-site from 9 am until 4 pm on Saturday, June 22.

An appointment is required and takes 20-25 minutes. To schedule an appointment please call 865-839-7426.

Criteria for Mobile Mammography Screening:

•Age 40+

• No current breast problems (lump, pain, nipple discharge, burning)

• Not pregnant and stopped breastfeeding for at least six months

• No personal history of breast cancer

• Must be able to climb stairs independently

• At least 11 months since your last screening mammogram

• Inform us ifyou have breast implants (will take 2 appointment times)

• Only patient allowed on mobile unit

Insurance will be billed. Women ages 40+ without health insurance should ask if they qualify for funding to cover the cost of the screening.
