Food City Grand Re-Opening in Trenton, GA

Company officials will host ribbon cutting ceremonies at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8th for the newly expanded/remodeled Food City on Crimson Drive in Trenton, GA. The grand re-opening celebration, which also begins Wednesday morning will include special pricing on select items throughout the store.
“Our customers will find the same smiling faces, top quality products, exceptional customer service and competitive pricing they have come to expect from Food City, along with some exciting new services and conveniences,” says Steven C. Smith, Food City president and chief executive officer.
Nearly 12,000 sq. ft. of retail space has been added to the store, bringing the total square footage to 53,400+ sq. ft. and creating sixty new area jobs. The expansion includes the addition of several exciting new amenities, including a Starbucks café offering a wide assortment of blended hot and cold coffees and beverages and an assortment of tasty breakfast sandwiches and pastries, Food City Gas n’ Go featuring top quality fuel and diesel, a Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union branch location providing a full range of financial services, and several self-checkout units. A drive-thru window has been added to the Food City Pharmacy for customer convenience. The food service department has been enlarged to incorporate some exciting new services, including a fresh food bar featuring a variety of soup, salad and fruit selections, Asian Wok, hickory wood smoker, brick oven pizza, fresh sushi, sub sandwich bar, fireplace, and internet service. Service cases have also been added to the meat and seafood departments and curbside pickup, Door Dash, and home delivery are available for customers wishing to shop online.
