Food City is proud to continue our long-time support of Girls Inc. of Chattanooga with yesterday’s check presentation totaling $2,000. Girls Inc. is dedicated to empowering girls by providing them with the tools and support they need to become confident leaders. Their mission emphasizes the importance of fostering a pro-girl environment where girls can thrive and develop their unique strengths. 

The organization focuses on several key principles:

* Empowerment: Girls Inc. aims to instill confidence in girls, encouraging them to believe in themselves and their abilities.

* Advocacy: The organization advocates for policies and practices that support girls and address the systemic barriers they face.

* Education and Programs: Through research-informed programs, Girls Inc. provides mentorship and safe spaces for girls to learn, grow, and take healthy risks.
