Certified Angus Beef® recently announced the winners of their prestigious marketing and leadership awards, designed to “recognize retailers’ dedication to quality”.  Food City was named Retail Marketer of the Year within the large chain category.  The winners were recognized at the annual brand conference, held September 17-19 in Marco Island, FL.

Food City was recognized as having “promoted Certified Angus Beef® products at University of Tennessee football games and NASCAR events, as well as through a backyard barbecue contest”.  Their meat department staff was also commended for “having attended training on the farm to learn more about beef quality first-hand”.
