Food City recently announced the appointment of Joe Holt as Store Manager of their Fairfield Glade location in Crossville, TN.  Holt previously served as Store Manager of the company’s Vonore, TN supermarket.  

“Joe is an exceptional leader and he is very deserving of this opportunity to further his career,” says Food City District Manager, Bucky Slagle.  “As an active member of the Vonore community, Joe was extremely instrumental in introducing Food City to the area.”

With 20 years of management experience, Holt began his career with Food City as Store Manager of the Powell, TN Food City after locating to Knoxville, TN in November, 2007.  He has managed several locations since.  “I am excited to be part of the Fairfield Glade community,” says Holt.  “I look forward to working with the exceptional team of associates here to serve the needs of our customers and their families.”  Holt and his two daughters, Amanda and Joanne currently resides in Lenoir City, TN, but plan to relocated to the Fairfield Glade area.  

Brad Hayes was named to replace Holt as the Store Manager of the Vonore, TN location.  “Brad played a key role in opening the Vonore store.  He excels in customer service and I’m confident he will be an asset to the community for years to come,” says Slagle.

Hayes joined the Food City team in 2010 as a Designated Assistant Manager at the Lenoir City, TN Food City.  After completing the company’s elite 52 week comprehensive Assistant Store Manager Training Program, Hayes was promoted to Lead Assistant Manager of the Loudon, TN store and has since assisted with the opening of several locations, including Vonore.  He brings over 11 years of retail experience to this key role.

“I couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity to work with the great team here in Vonore to serve the area residents,” says Hayes.  “My wife and I are looking forward to becoming a part of the Vonore community”.  Hayes and his wife Fay currently reside in Lenoir City, TN.
