Food City officials recently announced that they have partnered with Algood Drugs to continue to provide top quality health care services to area residents.

For the past 12 years, Algood Drugs has been owned and operated by Brad and Rachel Cross. “Rachel and I have served the community’s prescription needs for many years and we feel confident that Food City Pharmacy will continue that same tradition of providing quality care,” says Brad Cross. 

Food City is committed to providing prescription needs, an expanded offering of health and beauty care items, and a number of other valuable health and wellness services. Many of the Algood Drugs staff will be joining the Food City pharmacy team, and customers can expect to see the same smiling faces they have grown to trust for their healthcare needs. 

Prescription and refill information for Algood Drug customers will be transferred to the Food City Pharmacy, located at 1545 East 10th Street in Cookeville, TN on the evening of Tuesday, May 10th. “We’re excited to welcome Algood Drug customers to Food City Pharmacy.  Customers can simply call or stop by any Food City Pharmacy to obtain prescription refills, and we’ll take care of the rest,” says Mickey Blazer, Food City executive vice president of pharmacy.

Food City Pharmacy provides a full range of services, including immunizations, text notifications, prescription call reminders and free membership to the Food City Pharmacy Wellness Club. In addition to these great services, patients will receive 25 Fuel Bucks for every qualifying prescription. Fuel Bucks may be redeemed for discounts on fuel at area Food City Gas n’ Go locations.
