Official Rules and Regulations

Presented by K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc. - No Purchase Necessary

HOW TO ENTER: Entries will be accepted in two ways: electronic and mail-in.

 

ELECTRONIC ENTRIES: Use your Food City ValuCard with purchase of two (2) participating items in the same transaction between June 18th, 2025, through July 8th, 2025, to receive one electronic entry. Limit one electronic entry per visit. To obtain a Food City ValuCard, fill out an official application form available at participating Food City Stores. No purchase is necessary to obtain the card.

 

MAIL-IN ENTRIES: Handprint in ink on a 3x5 card your name, address, and phone number and mail in an envelope with postage affixed to 2025 Saucy Spoon Summer Grill Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1158, Abingdon, VA 24212. Limit one entry per card. All entries must be hand printed. No mass or mechanically reproduced entries accepted. All mail-in entries must be received by July 8th 2025. Improper, incomplete, mutilated, illegible or mechanically reproduced entries will be disqualified. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, damaged, delayed, postage due or misdirected mail-in entries. Entries become the property of KVAT Food Stores, Inc. and will not be returned.

 

HOW IT WORKS: On or about July 10th, 2025, a random drawing will be conducted from all eligible entries received via both entry methods combined. One (1) prize winner will be selected. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be contacted by phone. Sponsor is not liable for any potential winner’s failure to respond to Sponsor’s notification, whether Sponsor’s notification by telephone call successfully reaches the potential winner, for any reason, including incorrect number, telecommunications failure, power outage, and electronic disruption of any form. Decisions of the Sponsor are final on all Sweepstakes matters.

 

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: One (1) winner will receive a Blackstone Iron Forged 4 Burner Liquid Propane Outdoor Griddle with Black Hood. ARV $500.

 

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to participate, you must be a legal resident of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama or West Virginia, 18 years or older at the time of entry (except residents of Alabama must be 19 years of age or older). Employees of KVAT Food Stores, Inc., “Food City”, including its directors, officers’ subsidiaries and affiliates and immediate family members living within the same household of any of the aforementioned parties, are not eligible to enter and, therefore, not eligible to win.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS: No cash redemption, substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the responsibility of the winner. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws/regulations apply. The winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/liability and publicity release form (as permitted by law), prior to acceptance of prize. Noncompliance within 24 hours of date of notice will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Failure to respond to prize notification or return of prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner will be selected. The winner must consent (and confirm such consent in writing) to the use of name, voice, picture, or other likeness without compensation for promotional purposes in all media as determined by Sponsor except for residents of TN and where prohibited by law. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decision of the Sponsor shall be final and binding in all respects. The winner agrees to release, hold harmless, and forever discharge KVAT Food Stores, Inc. and Faribault Inc. and the employees, directors, officers, affiliates, and subsidiaries of each company, from any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities, of any nature whatsoever, which they may now or hereafter assert, including but not limited to, claims for injury, death, or illness arising out of or claimed to be arising out of Sweepstakes entry, prize acceptance, or use/misuse of the aforesaid prizes. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect Food City ValuCard data, electronic, network, computer/scanner failures, technical malfunction of computer hardware/software, or technical failures of any kind, including error in entry submission, whether human, mechanical or electronic of any kind in the automatic entry process.

If a winning entry is received via the automatic entry method, and a dispute arises as to the identity of the winner, the prize will be awarded to the person in whose name the swiped Food City ValuCard was issued, regardless of who made the purchase that resulted in the winning entry.

The name of the prize winner in this Sweepstakes will be available after July 30h, 2025, and may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a written request to 2025 Saucy Spoon Summer Grill Sweepstakes– Winner List, 1 Food City Cir, Abingdon, VA 24210

The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is KVAT Food Stores, Inc. [P.O. Box 1158, Abingdon, VA 24212]. Faribault is not a sponsor of this Sweepstakes and is not responsible for the administration of the Sweepstakes, the collection of the entries, or the conduct of any drawing.
